This palace was built between 1847 and 1853 for King Oscar I and his queen Joséphine. It is made of brick, with decorations mostly in natural cement and exterior render in Portland cement, one of the first to be made in this way in the 19th century.
Hainford Chapel in Norwich, England was renovated in 2006 by Simon Swann. It was the first as-was restoration using natural cement in this country. Simon identified and copied the colour of local Roman cements of the 19th century.
In 2010 Simon Swann used Prompt natural cement to renovate cornices and window surrounds to their original condition.
Built between 1745 and 1765 at the far end of the French Garden of Dobris Chateau, this Orangery was extended between 1816 and 1840.
